Cyprian Kohut was born in a family of musicians in 1983 in Bielsko-Biala, Poland. He started his music education being 6 years old. In 2006 he received master degree at the Music Academy of Krakow in the class of prof Witold Herman. In 2010 he completed postgraduate studies at Stuttgard Music Academy in Trossingen, Germany, in the class of prof Francis Gouton. He improved his skills at many master workshops run by Johannes Goritzki, prof Jap ter Linden and prof Ivan Monighetti.
At present Cyprian Kohut plays concerts solo, with chamber music and symphonic orchestras in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, France and Great Britain. He organizes concerts, plays at exhibitions, church and private celebrations. Cyprian Kohut is also a cello teacher and he shares his knowledge and skills with younger generation of cello players with passion.
